All models require a power oulet. Double check and ensure there is an outlet near your toilet.

Turn off the water supply to your toilet. The valve is typically found beside or behind your toilet.

Lay down a towel or bucket on the floor. Water leakage may occur during the installation process.

Remove your old toilet seat. Make sure that you have a wrench and flat-head screwdriver. (Tools are not included)
